Dressmaker Measurements and mannequin fit
Learn what the developers confirm about client measurements, mannequin adjustment and drafted patterns, without relying on guessed universal sizes.
Official record. Reviewed 9 October 2026.
What does measuring change?
The April developer log explains a simplified customer-measurement step, a mannequin adjusted to the customer, and pattern pieces drafted to the measurements. Fit belongs to the making process; it is not merely cosmetic character information.
What is a useful fit-check routine?
Before buying additional material, check the customer name, the recorded measurements and the mannequin. If one belongs to a different project, correct it before proceeding. Keep a screenshot of the relevant screen if you want to compare attempts.
| Stage | Editorial checkpoint |
|---|---|
| Customer | Confirm whose dress this is |
| Measuring | Read the displayed guides |
| Mannequin | Recheck the selected dimensions |
| Pattern | Confirm the intended project is drafted |
Should you copy another player’s measurements?
Our customer directory includes community-reported numbers, clearly labelled. They are a reference to compare against your screen, not a guaranteed shortcut to a perfect score. The official log does not publish the complete fit-score calculation.
